A $25 Non-Deductible/Non Refundable retainer/travel fee is required to reserve your wedding date. The brides wedding day service fees are due at the time we accept your signed agreement. ($50.00 if you want Alayne Only to be your wedding day artist) This allows us to turn additional requests away and cover our travel fees (up to 60 miles, additional charged after that.) Balance of fees are due on your wedding day via cash, check or charge.

We can come to you at your home, hotel or salon.  A well lit area works best.  Kitchen or dining room tables usually work great. 

Your makeup-artist will choose everything you need for a fabulous face. Lipstick and gloss can be purchased for touch-ups during the day.  

This is your day!  Our makeup and hair artists will work with you to create a look to suit your style and personality.  A preview session takes about 3 hours for both hair and makeup. 

We only schedule previews on weekends if there are no weddings scheduled, which is rare.  Sorry, we have tried to schedule previews on days in which we have weddings and feel that we need to be respectful of brides on their wedding day.  We often have Saturdays available for previews during January, February and March.  
 
On wedding day, makeup usually takes ½ hour per attendant and 45 minutes for the bride. Hair usually takes 1 hour for an updo, half hour for a blow out. Total timing depends on size of the wedding party.  Bride’s hair and makeup should be complete at least a ½  hour prior to the photographer’s arrival. Which usually is about 2 hours prior to the ceremony.    We do not recommend that the bride goes last. 

On wedding day, extra friends and family will be accommodated for last minute requests, Only if time allows. (This happens to us all the time after seeing how beautiful everyone looks.)

It doesn't matter which goes first, hair or makeup.  We only shampoo if absolutely necessary the day of the wedding.


Preview sessions are highly recommended for all brides.  Done at our Ballston Spa location.  Sundays and off site previews can be arranged for an additional fee.
