Alayne Curtiss - Owner - Licensed Esthetician and Cosmetologist - Sensational and sincere are two, of a bounty of words that describe Alayne Curtiss, the talented and innovative entrepreneur behind Make Me Fabulous.

Having spent the past 20 + years educating herself and her clients in the art of aesthetics and cosmetics, Alayne has had the opportunity to train and work with such beauty giants as Lancome, L’Oreal, Clinique, Clairol, Bobbi Brown and Bare Escentuals to name a few. From print to performance, Alayne’s work has been featured on the pages of Glamour, Women’s Day, Martha Stewart, Well Wed and Biker magazines, as well as on the faces of the personalities on The Today Show, MTV, VH1, and Nickelodeon.

Alayne’s experience rivals many in the industry and she is thrilled to offer her signature services along with a team of gifted professionals at her boutique, Make Me Fabulous, in her hometown of Ballston Spa, New York.

Make Me Fabulous, is a warm and energetic studio offering a multitude of services   Alayne is a licensed esthetician and cosmetologist and her eyebrow waxing and shaping is legendary for literally changing women's faces.

Jessica Armer - Full Time Bridal/Front Desk Coordinator - A former manager for GNC and a beauty junkie beyond all levels, Jessica's energetic personality embodies the feel of MMF.  Always happy, pleasant and excited to be a part of MMF and your wedding day planning she had read about or tested almost every facial and makeup product on the market and remembers every detail about everyone. Ask her you'll see what we mean.

 Suzan Truax - Senior Makeup Artist/Boutique Assistant Manager- Suzan and Alayne have worked together for over 14 years.  Starting from their Clinique days to waxing specialists to weddings to commercial projects.  Suzan continues with MMF in these capacities and in addition by training new artists, management and servicing guests at  the boutique.  Alayne and Suzan's styles mimic each other flawlessly. 

Anne Oddy is an accomplished hair stylist in all areas.  She is a certified cosmetology instructor and worked with one of my all time favorite hair stylists, Jessica Bayer Carrigan. She is an accomplished colorist, manicurist, pedicurist.  She has taught hair cutting and updo styling for years.  Again an MMF must... she is sooooo sweet and funny. works with us both at the boutique and offsite!  

Erin Colligan - Senior Freelance Makeup and Hair Artist- Erin has been with MMF for nearly 5 years and has been an asset since the beginning.  Erin has a delightful light-hearted personality and ability to handle any hair or makeup client.  She began her career in NYC as a hair and fashion stylist.  Now married to her super- talented video production husband Erin's talents never cease to grow.

Kara Ruhle- Geske - Freelance Makeup Artist - Kara has been assisting Alayne for several years and after moving to Virginia to marry her love, Gregory, Kara now returns to upstate and MMF.  Kara is kind, gentle and has a beautiful soft-handed, natural style with makeup.

Janelle Coffey - Freelance Updo Specialist- Janelle has been a successful hair stylist for many years.  After bumping into her at weddings for years we finally asked her to join our MMF team and luckily she agreed.Janelle also enjoys designing custom jewelry and hair bling for our brides.  Her bridal hair styles are up in a flash, yet soft and long wearing!

MaryJean (Ariel) Lizzi - International Updo Freelance Artist - Yes,we convinced her to stay in the states for our wedding season rather than working with her mother for editorial wedding magazine features in Italy!  Arial creates flawless styles without a hair out of place and do they ever last.  She has taught us all the tricks they use for hair in Tuscany Italy.

Kyle Colangelo-Garcia - Freelance Makeup Artist - Kyle returns to her roots in the Capital District after working for MAC in Both NY and Massachusetts.  Kyle exudes MMF's philosophy that all our artists be not only talented, but kind, gentle and fabulous.  You will be seeing a lot of Kyle as an MMF girl!

Courtenay Christian - Hairstylist - specializes in cuts and coloring. She received her formal training in Southern California and assisted at one of the hottest salons in Newport Beach, working with one of the top stylists in Orange County who is hairdresser to the "Housewives" on Bravo's Real Housewives of Orange County. One of her most memorable and professionally satisfying accomplishments was doing hair for the Red Carpet event at the Tribeca Film Festival. Courtenay absolutely loves what she does, and enjoys taking time on each individual client. She has spent five years working in a high-end salon in the Northeast and has recently joined the team at Make Me Fabulous!
